Morning Workout: A Bust

It’s been two and a half weeks since the vacation and I still haven’t gotten back to the workout/diet groove. I’ve been overdosing on chocolate almonds, dried mango, as well as just overeating in general. It’s funny, the disconnect between what your mind understands and knows, and what you’ll do anyway. And also, how fragile hard-won habits are in the face of food and laziness.

Did my regular morning workout today, but couldn’t finish the entirety of it. Below is what I completed.

Overhead box squats: 20lb barbell, 4x11
Split squat jumps: 4x20
Incline dumbbell press: 4x9, 12.5lbs first set, then 15lbs on the rest
Inch worm: 4x5
Iron cross: 5lbs, 1x15, 1x10
Squat jumps: 1x20

Pre-post-workout drink: BCAAs + green tea. Also, Vit C, eph, caffeine
Post workout: 1 scoop protein + green tea, 2 fish oil pills, and 1 Mrs Mays ultimate crunch piece

It’s 10:30 am as I type this. Won’t eat until 12:30pm, where I plan to have either some leftover salmon + salad, or leftover chicken + salad (both will be eaten, just don’t know which order). Just remembered I stil have chilli leftover. Might have that because that has the kidney beans in it for carbs, and it’s always best to have carbs post workout window.
